Giveaway time!

Happy days!

600 followers on Instagram and we hit the 2400 mark on Facebook. Thank you all! I'm gonna celebrate with a giveaway!

I got sent some jewellery pieces from this lovely shop called Pieces of the past a while ago, and I never got around to do a proper review. This post will be a review, but also the official giveaway post.

Pieces of the past is a super cool online shop, but I also believe they have a boutique in Daventry in Northamptonshire, England. They sell jewellery, but also clothes for men and women, including shoes. They also have a range of hair accessories available.

This is how they describe themselves;

We are a UK based vintage, rockabilly, pinup and tattoo scene inspired clothing, jewellery and accessory company. Specialising in hand made single and limited edition pieces of jewellery, alongside some true vintage finds and the occasional seasonal range... and the best priced 40's and 50's dresses you will find on the net!

Quite the fitting description if you ask me!

They sent me three pieces, and I apologise for the horrible photo! The items are so sparkly, there's no way a photo can do them justice.

It's a cute pair of heart stud earrings, super sparkly! The necklace is a "Sink swim" anchor themed piece and it's even sparklier (I don't know if that's a word). The ring is also mega sparkly. It's also adjustable which is good!

I have so much stuff laying around my house, things I never wear, and therefore I decided to give these away to someone who would actually wear them. I also have stretched earlobes so I can't wear "normal" earrings, so again, they would probably end up in a box somewhere. I think that's a shame when people send me stuff and I either can't or won't wear them as much as I should, so it's better to give it away to someone :)

Thank you Pieces of the past for sending me your cute items, and it was fun working with you! Pop over to their Facebook page, follow them on Twitter or visit their Instagram and Pinterest

Now for the fun stuff!

The giveaway will be open from today (14th of February 2014) for ONE week, meaning it'll end next Friday (21st of February). As always it's open worldwide so everyone can enter. You can enter through different ways so hopefully you all get a fair chance!

The prize is the three items I got from Pieces of the past, including a goodie bag from me. You never know what I put in those goodie bags, so it'll be fun!

EDIT: This clutch from Faux Fur Frenzy is also included in the prize!

Good luck!

As always

  1. I think I am more of a souvenir kind of girl. I tend to pick things they would have worn in the 50's, like circle skirt and sweet cardigans, and try to bring them up to date with bold colours and appliqué in all kinds (anchors, cherries, swallows, flamingos, cards, ...). Thank you for this amazing giveaway, I really adore the necklace!!!

  19. A woman sent out a text message to friends and family members advising them a Great Aunt had passed away. She ended the text with LOL. A son said, "Mom, why do you think that's funny?" The woman replied, "I don't think it's funny. Why do you ask?" The young man advised her that she'd ended the message in LOL, which means Laugh Out Loud. The shocked woman exclaimed, "Oh, my Lord! I thought it mean Lots of Love."
