I am still alive.... I just haven't had the time for blogging since I got back from my Summer holiday. I've been working a lot, and then I got sick. So yeah, you get the picture.
Today's blog post is a cute one. I've been following this girl (@garneteyed) on Instagram. Her name's Yuki and she's from Japan! She always posts these super cute photos of Japanese things, and I once commented something like "if you ever get rich, can you send me cute stuff too?", mostly for fun. Her answer came as a great surprise... she wanted my address so she could send me some things! Eek!
The parcel arrived to my flat while I was still at home with my parents, and I couldn't wait to get home so I could open it. My original plan was to make a video while opening it, but I couldn't contain myself and opened it straight away. I then decided to make a vlog about the things, and then I got sick. And believe me, my sick face and sick voice would not match the cute things Yuki sent me. So I'm just gonna go ahead and do a blog post instead.... Let's start!
These are all stationary things. A Hello Kitty pink pen, two Hello Kitty clips, a post-it kinda thing with a bear face on it, two small note pads, some smaller HK "post-its" and a paw which contains paper clips! SO cute!
Here's the edibles... Two packets of cookies, kitten paw candy and some milk chews. The milk chews were aaaamazing, I ate probably 20 of them just because I couldn't stop.
Pamper stuff! Panda band aids, a body wash, a towel pouch and a eyeliner pen. The eyeliner pen is amazing, and it's super water proof as well. I did a quick doodle on my hand to show how precise it is and how neat your eyeliner can be. Can't wait to try it properly!
I should be a eyeliner artist... uhm.
This Kokeshi doll is super adorable, and as far as I know it's some kind of traditional Japanese thing? I couldn't really understand the brochure.... it was in Japanese. It's a wooden money box, and you actually insert the coins in her forehead, hehe!
This little hamster key chain is just adorable, especially since I have a hamster myself!
Here's a little purse, with flowers and wooden lady money box print. Super cute!
Now... this is the mystery item. I have no idea what this is! I am really fascinated by languages and other cultures, and since I don't any a clue AT ALL about what it says.... I'm even more intrigued! Yuki, can you tell me? :)
These are the things I got from Japan. I can't believe how awesome Yuki is for sending gifts to a stranger on the other side of the world! I will send her some Norwegian stuff as soon as I can. I love all the things I got, and I can't wait to try the candy and the cookies, and also try out the body scrub and eyeliner. Thank you so much Yuki!! Arigatou gozaimasu!! (I googled that....)
