It's been a while. I promised a giveaway when I reached 1000 likes on my Facebook page. That happened way quicker than I assumed, and I'm now at 1172 likes. This giveaway is way overdue.

Your comments and letters mean so much to me, and it makes me so happy when you write to me, even if it's just a little hello. It's you guys who makes blogging fun!

The giveaway is my little way of saying thank you, and this time FOUR people will win something. It'll be one main winner, and three runners up.

- Winner will be drawn from a hat by my fiancĂ©, who's very neutral in this whole blogging  thing.
- The giveaway ends on the 8th of September at 9 PM Norway time (that'll be 8PM UK). EDIT: Winners will be drawn at 6PM Norway time (5pm UK time).

What is that in your ears? Part Two

Hello people!

I got a lot of positive feedback from my blog post about stretched ears. It makes me happy to hear that other people understands the whole stretched ear thing, and I completely agree with the people saying that they love the look of stretched ears even though they would never do it themselves. I'm like that as well, there's plenty of stuff that I think is cool but I'd never do it for myself. An example would be blue hair! It looks super awesome, I just don't want it on myself.

The last post was a rockabilly related post with leopard prints, but I've found some other more girly/awesome ear plugs that I want to share as well... well maybe they're a bit rockabilly after all. Could 't help myself! (I think I am obsessed with ear plugs.. I promise this'll be the last post about that!).

I found these plugs online from a California based shop called UrbanJewelry.com , and again, I love pages like this with affordable plugs! They're fairly new in business as well (2010) but already they have built up an awesome collection of jewelry etc and I really like how professional it all looks. I often judge websites on the appearance, if it looks dodgy/unprofessional I'm not bothering buying stuff. Their website also says that new exotic styles are coming up this year, so I'm pretty excited already!

They have other (important) stuff as well like ear tapers (for stretching ears) and guides for people interested in stretching their ears. I got a question about how I stretch my ears, and I can't say this enough: take it easy, it's not supposed to hurt! One mm at a time, don't force it.. Buy some good tapers and do some research before you start stretching.

I'm a big fan of wooden jewelry, but they also have plugs in silicone, bone and stone which is really cool! For some reason I feel like jewelry made from natural things (like wood) are better, I can't really explain why. Maybe because the steel ones go really cold during Winter? ;) Another awesome thing is that they do free shipping if you shop for more than $20 and all plugs etc are sold in pair. I hate it when you have to buy two of everything, I always end up misreading the whole thing and only one plug arrive in the mail.... It's like they've made this page easy to use for people like me!

Here's my top 5 recommendations! This time I haven't linked the photos directly to the website, but you can find them all under the "plugs and tunnels" section.

#1 Acrylic Rockabilly swallows

#2 Acrylic Four leaf clovers

(for those of you who's followed me for a while, I used to live in Belfast, and I love everything Irish! They even match my tattoos!)

#3 Acrylic Zebra print

#4 Wooden Hello Kitty
(so cute!!)

#5 Wooden hearts

Now I just need to be tough with myself, I really want them all! The thing is I'm about to start my fifth year in uni, and that means tons of new expensive books and materials... I might have to be a good girl and focus on uni stuff for a while, but it's always allowed to do some online window shopping isn't it....?
