Check her out..

I've been a fan of this girl for a long time now, and I felt like I had to write something about her on my blog so my readers can become a fan too!

Her name's Louna Maroun, super funny girl from down under with her own YouTube channel. She has the most awesome red hair EVER and I really wish my hair was that long and nice.

On her YouTube channel you'll find funny clips, hair tips and lovely parodies. My favourite is the Arab dad jokes, can't stop laughing!

Check her out on the following pages:

Take a look, it won't hurt you (well it might give you sore tummy muscles from laughing too hard)!

I love having...

I guess the title says it all..?

To be honest, I'm not having a happy day at the moment. The day's been fine up till now. I went to work/school placement this morning, the sun was shining and the kids were adorable as always. The oh so lovely principal and my "colleagues" gave me this today as well, I almost cried!!

I can't believe they got me a card.. look at the cute socks as well! So yes dear blog friends, I got engaged to the lovely man by my side in the photo :)

After school I went to the gym. I met two of my boys from the primary school waving their arms off at me (cute!). After 1,5 hours spent on de-fatting myself (I just made a new word) I walked home, stopped at the local food shop to buy sweet corn and four bananas and popped by the International Office to pick up my tickets for Dylan Moran in Belfast in May! I'm so excited!!!

Even though I had such a good day, my ankle decided to give
me a hard time when I got home. I had my dinner, watched Home and Away on youtube and BAM!, the pain.. I'm very well used to this by now, it's been 4 years since I broke it, but it's so annoying when you barely can walk. After a long discussion with myself about going to Irish class or not, I decided not to go. I now feel extremely bad for not going.. that's what you get when you care too much, I guess.

To make it even worse I'm listening to sad music (I tend to do that when I feel bad) and I miss my boyfr... I mean fiancé so much. He's coming over tomorrow though.. I can't wait :)

So, my good people, what are you up to these days?

I have some seriously...

Fáinne Chladaigh

The Claddagh's distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart, and usually surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are often said to correspond to the qualities of love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown).

Today my lovely boyfriend got me this Claddagh ring. I think it's absolutely beautiful! Can't stop looking at it, and I'm so happy. Life is perfect :)

We went to St. George's Market today for the St. Patrick's day preparation market. Irish music and lovely Irish dancers, great craic! I bought myself a little shamrock plant and Tomas bought
me a book (well, I didn't have the money... but I'm gonna pay him back!) called "Film Review 1958-1959" by F. Maurice Speed. It's a book about all the films in the cinema that year. Lots of great photographs and it smells just like an old book, I love it!

I put together some pics from the book, sorry about the quality again.. phone camera = good on the phone, bad on the computer.. Anyway, enjoy!
I'm gonna enjoy this book for sure, and not to mention get some inspiration from the photos!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before I finish off, we went out on Friday with some workmates of Tomas. Or his class.. I don't know what to call them. They kept on buying him beers and me Captain Morgan and coke.. I had so many of them!!

We had the most amazing night out and the entire week and weekend has been awesome. I got to wear my new polkadot dress, my hair was finally bright red again (thanks to LOVELY Vintage Rocks) and I felt quite good about myself! :)

Saturday was spent on relaxing and being a nice couple. Lucky me got to see three episodes of Agatha Christie's Miss Marple on tv and we fell asleep quite quickly that night. Tired cats!

The weekend was just... amazing. And to top it all off today he got me the ring. I love him so much.

A few...

Ahh, I feel so good nowadays!

The weather in Belfast is absolutely brilliant. It's spring time! The sun is shining, the birds are singing in the morning and it's wee flowers in the park. I love it!

I'm currently doing my teacher placement, just done with my first week today. I'm in a P5 class, and the kids are lovely. So polite and cute. I taught them some Norwegian today as well, they really enjoyed it. I'm staying with them for 3 more weeks and for the first time in ages I'm actually enjoying my placement. I love getting up in the morning and walk to school just when the sun is coming up and it's always super nice and sunny when I walk home afterwards.

I'm no longer sick which means I've started the gym again. I went today after a 2 week break and it felt so good! I almost died on the cross trainer (but I'm very proud of myself as well). The plan is from now on to go to the gym every day after work and continue with it after my placement as well.

My friend from Norway also came to visit me this week! We went shopping big time and I came home with two lovely polkadot dresses, a make up bag and a little purse or wallet (don't know yet!). I'm sorry about the quality of the photos, but they're taken with my phone and uploaded to my Twitter.. but you get the idea anyway! I also found something I've been looking for ever since I dyed my hair red. A white bandana with cherries.... suddenly it appeared in Primark! Yay!
The first photo is my look for today. I've tried a new twist for my bangs, I just didn't feel like having Bettie bangs today. What do you think?

At the moment I'm waiting for my man to come home from work so I can go over to his place for the weekend. I've missed him like crazy this week.. it will be so good to see him again!

In the meantime, have a nice weekend everyone! And oh, welcome new readers! 73 people! :)
