As promised, I wanted to talk a bit about my new hair and some dry shampoos!
It's now been 5 days since I dyed my hair red, and I still haven't washed it yet. My hairdresser told me to wait at least a week before I washed it, so all the natural oils in my hair would get a chance to hold on to the colour. I was thinking "okay... I'm gonna have the greasiest hair ever after a few days" but thankfully there's something called dry shampoos out there to help you out when you're desperate.
Last summer I bought Batiste's dry shampoo with a tropical smell just to try it out and mainly use on my fringe
. According to the product information: "
instant, deliciously exotic way to get clean, fresh hair full of body and texture. And there's no need for water!"
It worked perfectly fine, and I decided to try it on my red hair as well. It worked perfectly fine, and my hair feels clean after use.
To spray the dry shampoo over your hair and brush through it, and wa wa woom you're good to go!
But I got to admit it, I do love the coconut smell.... but after using it 5 days in a row you will get tired of the smell.
I therefore bought a new one, this time Kisby's dry shampoo. It has a neutral smell (which is good) and it also
works perfectly fine. My hair is still not greasy oryuk-ish, and I honestly think I'll survive two more days without "real shampoo", which my hair dye will appreciate!
I recommend dry shampoos for everyone with dyed hair, it will definitely help you keep the fabulous colour!
Even though I'm surviving at the moment, I need to wash my hair soon. So I've bought Franck Provost's Expert Colour shampoo and conditioner. I've never used any of his products before, so it'll be interesting! Hopefully they will treat my hair the way it deserves!
Here's a nice picture of Franck Provost, in case you wondered how he looked!

I don't think he has used a lot of colour lock-in shampoo though, but I still trust him!
Hopefully I've inspired some of you to try dry shampoos, and if you've already tried, what do you think?
